Cleaning Spark Plugs

hey all. the pick up on the rolla has dropped somewhat. i have been told that dirty spark plugs can be a reason for this so want to get them out and clean them.

but i cant for the life of me think where they are. any help?

its the 98 model with 4A-FE motor

I think they may be hiding under the plugs on top of you engine mate ;) Or they may be in the boot :D

i'm at work so wont be finding them till i get home. didnt think they were inder there? o well silly me.

why not just put new ones in ,you cant clean the internals ,and by the sounds of it the plugs must have seen better days.

Did you say in another thread it's running rich, doesn't that affect plugs aswell?

rich - yeh its runnning rich coz of optimax and octane booster from tra but that tank is done now so will eb running on normal petrol again so should sort it out

p.s. new spark plugs may be a good idea

What's up wid you today?

I'm feeling much better about not knowing where's the best place to put axle stands. (I know it's under the axles as Corollasr pointed out) but I never tried and didn't want to get it wrong.
