Horn Problem On 1998 Avensis

Hello Everyone. Thanks in advance for any help or input here.

I have a 1998 1.8l Avensis Sol with the old Carina engine.

The 10A fuse for the Horn circuit is blowing. When I replace the fuse and hit the horn, the horn works momentarily and the fuse goes again.

Everything else works fine with no history or problems. Are there any "known" problems here or has anyone else had a similar problem? I am technical and not afraid to take on a repair but was hoping for a "fast track" response.

You could try pulling the connectors off the horn and then pressing the horn button. If it still blows the fuse then there is either a short on the horn live wire or there may be a problem with the switch. If the fuse doesn't blow then you probably need a new horn.
