Brake Fluid Warning

The brake fluid light (red circle with exclaimation mark) keeps flashing on when the engine is cold or when I'm thrashing it. I've checked the fluid and it all seems fine (just below the MAX level).

Any ideas anyone?

Checked the switch on the handbrake isn't playing up??

Thanks Kelvyn, it turned out to be an over sensitive brake fluid sensor. I topped it up a tiny bit and the light no longer comes on.
