Starlet Dump Valves

does any one know much about dump valves? i was looking at getting a sard r2d2 off eBay. what ones have youall got? do i need a sertain type? this is my first turbo'd car so i dont have a f**king clue.

Ste-Q,

For dump valves, you need one which is appropriate for the size of your engine. A Starlet won't generate enough pressure to open the valve of a Skyline BOV, for example, so make sure whatever you buy will work with your car.

I have a Blitz Super Sound Dump Valve, which makes a good noise (thanks to the trumpet on it!), and is made to fit my car. The previous owner bought it in Japan, so I'm afraid I can't tell you about a good place to buy them for decent money in the UK.

Look on eBay mate there are plenty of guys in japan selling them.

my glanza also came with a blitz dump valve mate it sounds wicked and also designed for the car. again unfortunatly mine came from japan to so i cant help you on where to get one from.

i m using a Baileys Motorsports DV....nice loud noise too...sometimes it's annoying...cheers
