Naffest Aftermarket Modifications

Without offending anyone (I for one am guilty of some the following sins), what would you consider to be the 'naffest' aftermarket modification you could possibly install on your car?

I admit some you could get a way with, depending on the type of car you drive.

In no particular order:

* carbon bonnet and stick on ones

* flamer kit

* cuddly toy

* logos down the doors (no offense to some people :rolleyes: )

* lexus lights

* WASHER JET LIGHTS

* private number plates & plates with fancy fonts

* big pimp alloys

* sunstrips

* bad boy body kits

* tinted windows

* neons

* fake big brake discs

*spinner hub caps

Feel free to add your own..... :thumbsup:

pretty much the same as you. shelly :)

except carbon bonnets and "slighty" tinted windows.

they can look good if you pay the right price B)

What do you mean, fake big brake discs??

well, a mate of mine has a gigantic human-sized teddy bear strapped in to the front Passenger seat. He said that it would attract attention from the ladies.

although it should be pointed out that it has been quite a while since this guy has gotten a date <_<

muchos agreedos

''fake brake'' discs are steel discs with the 'cross drilled' holes in them. basically as it is - a fake disc

you fit them behind your wheel in front of the drum brake to try and cover up the fact that you have them

only thing is though, they have no caliper :lol: and normally look bigger than the ones on the front! :lol:

110% poxy!

:thumbsup:

how many cars got broken into back in the day when everyone had kenwood or alpine sunstrips hmm?

Drivers should be done for trades description act if they try to sell a car with them still on and none of the parts are fitted :lol:

"I didn't know HKS did a turbo for the Saxo VTR" :ffs: HELL NO!!!!

As for the rest well *tearing noise* none of them are on my shopping list :rolleyes:

:yes::yes:

translated into 'chav'

ALPINE/KENWOOD/ETC = i have spent a lot of wedge on my stereo, please come and steal it so you can flog it on the market for a rock bottom price and buy some dope.

Funny enough a friend from college (10yrs ago) had his car trashed and the person who trashed it had the nerve to leave a note saying crap stereo. he had kenwood sticker across rear windscreen and factory stereo. but in his defence he did own a kenwood, just had not fitted it yet. :lol:

private plates rock IMHO a very effective form of individuality

Couldn’t agree more Mr Jaxx, but only if they are not manipulated to make them say something they shouldn’t, the ones which spell a word or name or are just your initials are subtle but effective.

Okay, here's my list..:-

Neons

Spinners

Cuddly Toys (real pet hate that one - if some folk had fewer then they would be able to see out of their car!)

Neon washer jets

All of the other things can look "right" on some cars, but these are either pointless or travesties :D

I'm guilty of the "private" plate, but in my defence I got it for my Christmas :unsure:

Cheers,

A
