Naff Paintwork

Just realised another part on the front bumper where the laquer has came away on my yaris. Its only a tad bit but noticeable and dont fancy going to a bodywork place to get it sorted. So thats two places on my car where the it has done this and i fancy a D.I.Y job.

so what will i need? i know i need sandpaper stuff, not sure of the type, but its the one you get from Halfords to smooth existing edges of laquer where its came away. and obviously a can of laquer spray. any specific type of laquer or is there just one type, lol?

do i need anything else or is that it?

so all i do is smooth the edges down of where laquer has came away

spray with little bit of laquer 3 times, 15 minute intervals, then two weeks later put some turtle wax on or whatever it is and you'l not be able to tell the difference

am i correct?

its up to you mate

but id strongly suggest doing it properly rather than ''on the cheap''

basically i find doing it cheap makes it look cheap

If you're not used to it, you'd be better off getting it done professionally, honest!

Sure it's more expensive but they're going to end up doing it anyway if you aren't happy with your own attempt. right?
