Interior Light, Carina E

Hello. I have just registered, having recently acquired a Carina e estate.

Please, are there any helpful or experienced people who can tell me how to get at the light bulb in the central interior light to change it. The Owners Handbook seems to miss this one out! I have tried poking at it with a screwdriver, and created a few scratches, but if I am going to use brute force, I would rather know I am applying it in the right place and way.

Does the whole unit come out of the ceiling, or does the clear panel come of the front. Somebody must have done it before.

hello all you do is get a electrical srewdriver ,when sitting in the back seat looking at the light fitting on the left of the cover in the middle youll see a slight indent in the cover put screwdriver in this and lever out very very gently it is awkward but you'll get there .fitting it back just put in the right hand of the lens which has two bits sticking out into the gaps in the light fitting first and push the lens in to left hand side. hope this helps and stay calm
