Graffiti On Bonnet

Good morning everyone.

Could I ask for some advice?

A work colleague had a bit of a run-in with some pikeys at the weekend. The result? He was followed home and this morning, his black Golf GTI had F**k You sprayed across the bonnet with silver spray paint.

Can anyone give advice as to how this can be removed? Obviously a re-spray will be required, but in the meantime this person doesn't fancy driving around with such on his bonnet, plus I think it's illegal.

He's thinking along the lines of T-Cut and polish for now - does that sound good to you?

Thanks guys!

you could try t-cut depends on how thick the spray paint went on

alternatively if its not convenient to get to the spray shop yet (which is a must to get it right)

then nip down Halfords and get a spray can of the cars colour and spray over the top again

ok itll look pants but still be the same colour and cover up the graffiti

and by the way..........

that sucks and the offenders should be shot!

Thanks Jaxx,

Some of it went on quite thick - looks like they paused to try and work out the spelling!! Yeah it sucks. His girlfriend's tyres were slashed too :censor:

Just goes to show that you can't mess with pikeys. They don't care about ANYONE'S property. Ok, that's stating the obvious.

Try using cutting compound on it,

that should take the spray paint off completely.

You can buy it from Halfords.

Also a very light amount of thinners would work too but you run the risk of burning the original paint

Remember to wax the bonnet after doing any of these things.
