Jap Show @ Santa Pod

Got my 2 tickets through this morning for the jap show, thanks starletsy for getting them sorted.

So who else is going on the TOC stand?

Really looking forward to my first TOC meet and fingers crossed my car will be out of the bodyshop by friday to get some tuning done in time for some 1/4 mile runs on the day

well I got mine this morning, so I would think he must have sent some others off.

It's a green pass that looks like a 'do not disturb' sign you hang on doors I think it's supposed to be hooked on your interior mirror.

You pay on the gate and the pass allows you into the main show area and the stewards will direct you to the TOC stand.

about 10 days ago.

He was a little busy with work, but sent it very promptly.

Right, will try to sort sumat out, how much we thinking the whole weekend will cost, assuming it is a full weekend??

tis only a one day affair.

i've worked it out as £10 entry, £15 for three runs up the strip, £10 to richard K if he comes along and £25 to knightrider for his front splitter

so will be a tenner minimum or 25 including a few thrashes up the track

You have to register for the runs early, right? First come first served?

yeh i guess so. i'm going up with knowlson and leeky at 8am or something.

will be signing up if the car can actually make it there

Sign up as early as possible.

Attended last with the MSC and it was rammed! One of the best days at santa pod and a LOT of people attend.

Sign up no later then 9.30am to get track time

If my tuning goes to plan I'll be signing up soon as I arrive

I don't think I'll shave much off strippin' it out, so just go with everything in it.

I'll drive there on half a tank though, fold wing mirrors in, go to the loo, where shorts and vest, some totes socks with the grippy bits on the bottom. can save weight in many ways.

ah yeah. folding wing mirrors in. i forgot that one. take off the aerial aswell.

was gonna stick the induciton kit on and take the bonnet off for extremely good airflow :P

no interior...

14's are back not to damage the 17's...

all the seals are off....

no side windows...

lol still only be around 16's seconds
