Exploding Light Bulbs ?!?!?

Ok.... when I got in from the meet last night I switched on the light in the hall.

Boom... smash... flash.... !!! .... lmao.

The thing exploded and went all over the place ... WTF ?!?!

usually light bulbs just go pop and die. Never seen one explode before. It knocked out all the lights in the house, as it was night time I couldn't be bothered to find the fuse box and just climbed into bed in the dark... lol.

On the road home I went a backroad and it wos fun and games, water right across the road, wos pretty dodgey really!

Just had a hunt for the fuse box... took me a while... lol

It's one fo those old stylee fuse boxes that doesn't have a trip switch thing !!!

So I'm gonna have to switch the whole box off... pull out the fuse for the lights.. then try to find a fuse from a shop somewhere.

The lights say they are a 5amp fuse. Now without ripping it out, are these the same sort of fuses you get in a plug ??

Where am I supposed to get this from ???? ..... lol

This is not good at all. BTW Rico... the fuse box is hidden in the living room.... that's why it took me so long to find the thing.

Im serious!! When you pull the fuse out it will have a piece of wire going from one end to the other.

You can buy the wire from electrical shops currys etc.

lmao..... funny. Still don't believe you about the wire thing... lol. Will find out in a few minutes as I have to shut the whole box off before I remove the fuse.

So I'm gonna walk into comet/currys.... can I have a bit o' wire please??

I thought these things were in the olden days?? Not used to these old fashioned things. Why can't everywhere have nice modern fuse boxes with little trip switches etc ??

No.... my one makes lights explode, then needs a whole wire replaced !
