Sick of being forced to use unleaded petrol. I managed to fill up with optimax yesterday which was nice... :)

Some petrol stations sell it for folk who run on 4 star and cant it at the pumps.

Also halfrauds.

Is it expensive ?? Might buy 10 bottles and just have it stashed in my boot.

Check eBay, might be someone selling a box of the stuff on there.

I think its about 5-10 quid a bottle

Silcolene make octane booster (or used to). Used to buy it years ago for my Go kart.....went like Poo off a shovel. Bought it from a motorbike shop. Happy shopping :D :thumbsup:

Well i just had a look on it and there wasnt much to choose from anyway.

Prices start from about a tenner up to 20 quid

It's called Silcolene Pro-boost.

£10 for a 1 litre can, which can be mixedto different percentages depending on what grade of fuel you want.

I use two cans to a tank of Optimax which runs at around 108 RON.

Needless to say, it may be an expensive tank of fuel, but it gives me a big grin :D
