Hello, just found this place seems pretty neat.

I have a 2001 Celica everything pretty standard that im looking around for some information on body mods, etc. My wife said that I need to fix everything wrong with the car first ;p So going down my grocery list one of the things that i have no idea how to do is get the keyless entry working. I was told by the dealer that it had it, but they didnt have the remote, i found you can buy them on eBay but without the instructions. Where can i get the instructions? Will i dealer tell me? or Charge me to do it? Is there a for sure way I can tell my celica has Keyless Entry and the salesman wasnt messing me? Thanks! I look forward to learning alot from you guys.

i'm pretty sure most celicas had remote locking built into the alarm system .but when the keyfob dies it needs reprogramming by toyota at a cost , so some people have a separate alarm fitted to avoid this crap in the future.i'd say he was pulling ur chains , but then who knows ????

here is the eBay auction, there are a bunch like it

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...TRK%3AMEWA%3AIT

and here's an auction for the instructions, but I figure SOMEONE has to know

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...sspagename=WDVW

they appear legit, but I dont want to buy it if there isnt a way to program it to work.
