Lecture About Toyota

I study Civil Engineering at uni. Ive just had a lecture on Construction Management. In which, the lecturer was praising Toyota for their "Lean production" methods in manufacturing cars and how it led to the Egan Report which boosted the productivity in the Construction Industry!

Yeah was pretty strange hearing about it, but it made me wake up in the lecture! lol

Got to go back in 2 mins to start my 4th lecture in a row!! Hmm, another hour of Structural Design!! lovely!! :D

absolutley, brought on by the fact companies had so little storage space in Tokyo if i remember correctly..

I know what JIT is .. it's when you go to toyota and they say "ohhh .. about 6 to 8 weeks, if they have any" ..
