Hi all thought id say hello ive been a outside observer 4 to long! ive had my red G6R (34k on clock) for about 6 weeks now, and have just started on a few mods (so far 17"O.Z records, powerflow 3"cat back systm) but i could do with a bit of advice on the next step... SUSPENSION MODS

I have been looking into suspension kits and springs and having no luck except for

Gmax springs -40mm, fensport springs (who makes them?) and the tte items (asked dealer to find price and thay never phoned back) where can i source reasonably priced kit from. in the meantime will it go down on the Gmax springs without any hassles? (40mm sounds good!) my wheels are 7x17 ET40 on 40tyres

p.s be gentle im a internet/typing newbie

have you already tried ENVY performance?

I think some one mentioned Eibach do springs, maybe shocks too.

I have Pi springs that lower my G6R 40 mm they went on with no problems. I also have 17 inch alloys like you and i get virtually no rubbing problems on the back arches. Its onlywhen i have 3 people in the back that i get any trouble at all and thats only when i drive fast.

I have the TTE springs they have been on the car since 1998 and have never let me down ;) Get them

Welcome to the club...yey another G6r owner...never saw any G6r's before i got mine and now iv seen a couple around my area...typical!!

Even though theres only 140 left registered in the UK... :D

Think iv got the fensport ones on mine...i should really find out from joe...he did tell me but iv forgotten

Mines on 17's and its as low as your grans t-t's

Thanks for the advice guys but ive totally ignored it and booked the car in for Gmax springs next friday. I think i will ride around with them for a while then when ive got sum more cash (wheels cleaned me out) i will get some fensport KYB shocks and try them with the Gmax springs and maybe the TTE stabilizer kit (ne good?)

i will post some photos up when the springs are fitted :)

Yeah get some pics up when you fit the springs! Ive had a set sitting in the boot of my car for around 10 months!! Was going to fit them a while ago but want shocks too. Will see what the outcome is on yours I think! lol

I olso drive a G6-R ( not for long ) its a nice car to drive .

I olso have it lowered with TTE springs .

But i have bought a New Corolla 3 doors model 2005 Linea Sol 1600 color Platinum Silver

Options are TTE rear spoiler and TTE lowered and today i bought a set of wheels from TTE type GrandPrix 7,5 J 17 inch with Tyres Dunlop SP 9000 225-35-17

The car is new delivered on 7 Januari 2005

I can,t wait untill ihave got it :P
