damn it!

poo hit the propeller!

was removing the split charge system and had a mishap and crossed the !Removed! Battery terminals!

blew the 120A main fuse :ffs:

now i managed to bypass this, wrong i know (by bypassing the fuse terminals) but just to be sure the car would start and so i could move it out the way

but now the Battery, ABS and parking light are always on and the car seems to run a little rough :(

i dunno if its caused by the bypassed fuse which i will replace tomorrow????

any ideas???

ive looked for anything to do with the ABS but no avail!

Hi Rob,

It's very common when you get lights on like that, that the voltage regulator on the alternator is gone. Voltage from alternator to Battery should not be higher than 15 V, current should be around 10 A with no "electric users" swithed on.

Cheers, Yves.

When you say 'rough' do you mean realy rough or just different from what it was?

is it possible that as the main fuse had gone the ecu reset itself?

i have read on previous threads that the ecu makes changes to the car depending on driving styles!

correct me if this is a load of poo!!

CB

sweet and sorted!

replaced the fuse and all is fine and the ECU isnt bust!

there must be some form of connection in the fuse box prior to the fuse wire which runs certain bits and bobs in the car but all in all its sorted and all the dash lights have gone off!

just ran lumpy as hell so took her for a good ragging round the back roads and the ECUs back on track again

:D
