Cleaning Exhausts

whats the best way to polish up your exhaust? mines pretty filthy and it wont just wipe off. dont wanna get wirewool to it cos it'll scratch it too much. what you guys do? cheers

Just give it a damn good clean with a sponge or cloth then when it's dry use a normal polish like Autoglym and buff off. Job done!

After sponge cleaning, Brasso and elbow gease usually does the trick!

I use wire wool on mine then autosol.

Doesn't scratch it at all and great for getting rid of tar and stuff

ta for posts. i heard wirewool scartched the steel and it went rusty, cant think where like just seemed to remember it.

The standard exhaust on the mr2 is stainless steel so it wont rust mate
