Best thing I can suggest is to take the car to an MOT centre that doesnt have a mechanics garage attached to it. That way they have nothing to gain from telling you somethings wrong with the car when it isnt.

I have Mot on mine till next May, BUT it isn't accepted by the money grabbin Baskets here, so I have my Nct coming up on Tuesday week. Wish me luck

I had the emisssionbs & light alignment checked last wek. Perfik! But they failed one a couple of weeks ago. WHY? Not enough grease on the Bonnet catch.I Swear on the Bible that's true.

Bet if I took my newly MOT'ed car to my old garage that robbed me £700 last year.. they will defo fail it.. might spend the £30 just to give them the finger!
