finally got my car back from the garage, but now the ABS light is always on?

what causes this? I went back to the garage and they said it may just be a problem with the ECU as they had to disconnect the abs sensors to do whatever it is they did.

But they hav connected them back up now so why would the light b on??

Could be as simple as a bad connection hopefully. If you've ever read the fault codes on your ECU you may have a paper clip. You can use the same paper clip to read the ABS ECU fault codes and it will tell you which wheel has the fault. Check out this link for full details http://www.mr2-tech.com/bgb/mechanical/vol...rake_system.htm Click on DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM.

I'd say the haven't reconnected the ABS sensor back properly OR broken it in the process.....one of the Legnums we just imported had the ABS light on, turns out the on of the ABS sensors had ceased. We phoned around for pricing and availibty etc and one place broke it trying to get it out for us but we ended up finding one for $150!!

Either way it wasn't on when you gave it to them so it's there job to make sure it isn't there when you get it back.

Cheers
