To be honest, I think that picture they've used is the renault clio light cos that ain't the right shape, It may just be there to give you a rough idea of what it will look like, but that ain't a corolla one

Too much to drink last night I think! lol

Yeah I thought it looked a bit familiar to start with. Oh well, will e-mail them again and ask for a proper picture of one.

Dont know if I will go for them though, maybe a bit to common on cars now!

Yep definately a clio rear cluster...the rolla rear lights are more rounded and smoother...rather than evil looking :D

At first, I liked them, but then I seen a set on a civic 3DR which has very similar sized lights as our cars, and because of their size they were too much.

I'd like to see of they do the smoked lenses over the light's like the later spec is200. I noticed them on an IS200 that someone here has recently purchased (blue with gunmetal/anthracite wheels).

But I suppose I could always use 1 coat of tint spray to smoke them up a bit.

I think CorollaSR was interested in these.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Yeah ed was looking for them for a while and it was a German company that were proposing to make them if 1000 prospective buyers were found.

There was also a company in Ireland selling "Skyline type" afterburner LED lights, they looked not too bad, butthe cluster stuck out a bit far!

When you said Ireland I had feeling it would be that corolla, I've 2 mag features on it. 1st when it was blue, a second time as you see it there.

I guess I'm pickier than I thought, if the top lights were reduced in size (diameter and depth) then I'd consider them.

That shot of the car down the side makes it look like it's got zits on its rear end.

But I think I'll leave mine for a bit. I might go to a scrappy to see if I can find a set to practice on.

Lol. Posh Toyotas!!

I knew you didnt like them andy! Im not sure what to make of them, would rather have darker clusters on the back cos there is just too much red as standard!

I think if the back lights where a little bit darker they would look cool but I think that the police may stop you and you could also fail and MOT :(

So never done it on mine :(

Yeah I would like the darker clusters but again, its all about the MOT at the end of the day!! :(

I remember I seen a quiksilver 106 in the car park at Max Power Live with silver tights material over the lenses. That's an idea to get around MOT time, but when I came back to the car, both light had cigarette burn whole in them.

I'll have spare lights for MOT time and spare wheels for winter.

can you counteract the tint's with brighter LED bulbs. same wattage but brighter lighter?

My idea is, if you treat your mods like some people treat a De-cat pipe,

Just keep hold of your MOT friendly items, for when the time comes.

That corolla sucks, that car was the main reason I started to mod my car it's all show and no go + there are no TTE parts on it anywhere!!!! I think he may have even called it the best corolla in the world in it or at least the maxpower writers may have called it that :ffs: :ffs:

The lights on suki's car looks good but (hehe engage child mode) she might get pulled by the fuzz for it :D sorry suki I could not help myself :P :P
