Woo-hoo! Took my first driving lesson!

Ohhh, that Yaris is so going to be mine

I was learning about clutch control and I had no control over my leg.....kept shaking like mad, had a mind of it's own

I picked it up faster than I thought I would :D , the whole biting point is easy now  and changing gears is easier than I thought

I need to brush up on my steering cos my legs are too large and I can't do the whole threading the wheel through properly cos I'm used to arcade games and just crossing over my arms

But my next lesson is next week!

Anywho, my mum's getting a new car soon, she wants a Toyota Corolla B)

It took me 3 months, 18 hours of lessons, and 2 tests to pass :D

Mounted the kerb when reverse parking :( OOPS

It was on a steep hill to be fair ;)

heehee thanks.

I got the hang of changing gears and he even said I picked it up quite fast and that I was anticipating before he even said anything B)

I still got a lot to learn but I know I'll get there......I think after like 5 or so lessons I might take my theory.

I think it's a good idea to get the theory out the way as soon as you can. Then you know one part is done and dusted. My instructor encouraged me to do this after my second lesson as the revision etc is really down to you, although he/she may give you a few pointers. Try as many online interative practice tests with a bit of revision and you'll be fine. It's common sense really.

I know exactly what you mean with the shaky leg thing though!!!

Best of luck

I still hate parallel parking!!! In fact I avoid it at all costs and I've been driving a year. Pretty much mastered everything else though... the odd bit of abuse at drivers cutting me up... knowing where the local speed cameras are... which petrol stations I can easily fill-up at....

Hehe.
