I'm not sure if there are many female members here, but thats what SAM represents. The female automotive enthusiast!

We're relatively new and based in Winnipeg Manitoba, and I am here to spread the word of our club and site, amongst making new friends and meeting new ppl and finding new homes within the forums.

hey we welcome any advertisements for other clubs, sites...mentioned in our forums....we may in time add a links section where you can even add the link

as for sexist...no! MEN ARE WELCOME ON THE FORUMS>>>we have plenty of male and females...its the car club itself that is female members only.

both men and women can also receive the discounts thru our sponsers.

if you have any other comments feel free to let me know!

also forgot, the reason we have it set as an all female car club right now is because here in wpg there are numerous and some ladies were requesting an all lady club, we respected that request, and in the future you never know, some things change.

exactly, if we set up a 'men only' car club, there would be outrage by the women!

and i think we should all join this club - they cant stop us, if they did, then that would be sexual discrimination, which is illegal!

actually I personally am not sexist, but you can choose to believe what you want. Actually, all female car clubs, though few in existance, actually have rocketed with quite force.

Personally, I wouldnt mind if men were in the club, but my co-founder at this time doesnt want it to be.

Like I said the guys are still able to recieve our sponser discounts and be on the forums....so I mean the only thing the guys arent getting is the windshield banner.....so its not like you're missing out on much

the fact is, the law (both here and in the US) states you are not allowed to discriminate against someone just because of their s*x..

so.. if your partner is saying men cannot join because she wants an 'all-female' forum, then that is breaking the law..

thats within a business, this isnt a business....if we get enough interest with the males maybe we will change, but right now we have more interest within women

yeah, welcome to the club BTW - i see you drive a chevy cavalier - i've had a couple of them as rentals when over in CA - the coupe version is nice, the standard aint great (but thats probably down to it being a rental)

yeah I needed to say I drove a toyota to sign up, the 'rolla I will talk about is my friend Chelsea's, since I'm doing all the work on it anyway....lol

She knows what she wants, just not how to do installs, etc. So thats what I am for.
