The time has come for a new clutch to be fitted to my recently purchased baby. It is an F reg corolla GTI-16 and the previous owner was apparently quoted £100 all in from a friendly mechanic...Does this sound about right, - how much do people usually pay without using genuine toyota parts? Also, if places start charging me ridiculous money, where is the best place to get a nice cheap but reasonable quality clutch from? - As i have lots of body work to do, there will be relatively average power being run through it, so only a standard item is needed.

Thanks in advance,

- RIDDLES-

I'd paid £190 for the orginal clutch and fitting about 1yr ago now. The cluches aren't to bad because they also use them in the MR2 Mk2 so they are easy to find.

£100 sounds a bit cheap to be any good though
