How difficult is it to fit Front and rear mudflaps on a T3?

Has anyone on here ever fitted them and is it a very complicated job?

Standard Toyota flaps - anyone fitted them?

Me again! ;)

My sister's car has the standard Toyota flaps and it only too the local Mr T about 10 mins to fit them. I've looked at the fitting as I was going to get some for my car and then fit them myself.

The screws and bolts seem to mount straight into pre-prepared holes in the wheel arches so it looks like a piece of cake.

If you give it a shot then you can post up an entry for the "How to"s!

Cheers again,

Alan

Thanks again Alan,

I checked out your garage pictures and was amused by your "Stealth" mod :D

Yes, unfortunately it seemed to work too well last Sunday night - guy pulled into me and the car is a write-off :crybaby:

I should finally get round to removing it from the garage tonight. Replacement (identical) Yaris should be on the way soon though

"Stealth" thing added because people always cut me up at roundabouts on the way home. People just don't seem to use their mirrors (/rant).

Cheers though,

Alan

Fitted my front mudflaps saturday morning.

15 minute job.......easy, no need to jack up car, just put steering on full lock for access to the three Hex headed screws that hold the flaps on. Good, full instructions with the flaps. It should stop the doors from picking up some of the mud splatter from the fenland roads where I live. Might think about getting some rear flaps now.

I found the rear ones are a bit of a fiddle to fit on the new model which seemed to vary a bit from the old one which was easy.
