Engine Noise With Acceleration, Ac Leak

All the sudden the engine of my 2000 corolla started to make a noise while accelerating to 30 mph. At the same time ac liquid or water started to leak from an open pipe.

Could they be related?

What might be the cause of engine noise?

Some more info about the problem. Maybe ac leakage and noise are not related.

The nose isn't there when I press the accelerator when the car is not moving.

The noise comes out only when the car is in motion.

I guess this rules out an engine issue. Could it be transmission?
