I dunno, as long as they're 55w/60w it'd be difficult to argue they're not. I've had some 8000k ones on my bikes and in the Yaris, and never got pulled for'em... and when I did get pulled they were never a subject of conversation! ;)

The website i got them from (autobulbsdirect.co.uk) says All these bulbs are road legal in this country and throughout Europe and where required carry the 'e' mark.

Is there anywhere i could find out for deff?

As I said before they are illegal, you will only get done if you are involved in an accident (the other driver could say that they were blinded by your lights)

maybe those are not that blue, mine are defo not road legal

Depends what you mean by a blue tint.

There's those whither than white bulbs that have a bluish tint.... think Phillips do em. They are perfectly legal. A little like the xeon discharge bulbs..they also have a blue tint.

It's the blubs that are literally blue that are illegal.

Speaking of bikes though...how do they get away with having purple/red lights??

Thing is...they are manufactured like that....surely illegal?

The bikes with coloured lights have got coloured perspex stone-chip shields on. Utterly illegal and a style crime of great magnitude...

never realy seen a nice headlight cover on a bike, most seem quite tacky dont mind the light smoke ones they just pass in my books, :P

I spend time and money making my headlights as good as possible, I just can't see the logic in any form of coloured cover!
