Hi

I have a problem with the running of my G6R, When you are changing down in the gears the revs drop to 0rpm and it nearly cuts out. I have reasonly seviced it and changed the plugs. A local mechaic suggested that it could be the distributor. If so where can you get a second hand distributor for a G6R as a new one from Toyota is 600euro. It may not even be the distributor.

any ideas

Paul

Did this happen before you had your huge exhaust? I doubt it did by the sounds of things.

A huge 2" exhaust sounds good, but as it is wider, will dramatically reduce compresion in the engine. If compression is reduced to much, the car can cut out completely.

Wouldnt suprise me this is whats happened to your car m8! Rip it off and stick it on eBay! Get a quieter smaller one and solve 2 problems! ;)
