Hi, I'm new to the forums.

I own a very tidy 1989 Supra 3.0i non turbo. Recently the head gasket went but also the enfgine uses a considerable amount of oil so I decided I would like to replace the engine with a low mileagae one (or a reasonably priced rebuilt one). Does anyone know where I can get a guaranteed low mileage, high quality engine from in the UK. I know they are available from the US but no one is willing to export to the UK.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated as I am lowered to using a Rover diesel at the moment. I miss my Supra.

desperatley, Paul

120,000miles, maybe a new head would cure it???

Uses about a gallon a month/12,000 miles

This is the second head gasket in as many months.

ask nick at www.totallycustom.co.uk

or go to the owners group at www.mkiiisupra.net as he hangs about on there a lot..as do we all :D

adi

PS the 3.0 engines blow headgaskets for fun.. its all part of the joy of owning one..

but fensport have a bad reputation martin, i've heard of horror stories and bad service from people who use them for engines or otherwise.
