Pcv & Trans Fluid Temp

1) Installed a clear fuel filter inline with the PCV valve because of the amount of oil that was being sucked into the intake manifold via the PCV valve. Would have really made a mess of my intake manifold and would have adversely affected performance. The oil is being trapped in the fuel filter, and when it fills up I empty it and reuse it.

2) Installed a transmission temperature guage (automatic trans.) and was amazed at the temperature of the transmission fluid at operating temps. (210-230F) Fluid will not last long at these temps. Installed a B&M stacked plate oil cooler (16kgvw) and now see operating temps 140-170F, MUCH better. Shifts smoother too!
