Is it possile to use the gt turbo engine in a paseo? Has any one done it?

These cars have grown on me since working on/driving them. The yellow one on this site is STUNNING ! Any other info would be nice,i think i'll check out paseo pimp :thumbsup:

dunno if it fits or not, but i woulda thought it would be a bit of a tight squeeze, prolly better way to go is a either some type of 4age series engine, as they're not all that much bigger than a 5e-fe. or if you really got some cash to spend the new 1.8 celica engine is %$(in amazing. But my mate has just shoved a 2 litre mondeo engine into his fiesta so i geuss almost anything is possable if you got the know how. I think there's even a couple of V8 mr2 mk1's in america too.

Actually, it's a direct swap. same engine mounts and tranny bolts. it's the most common swap. you can do a 4AGE, and i've heard of a 3SGTE, but those require engine bay mods.

Hi, yes I did the conversion on mine. It's quite simple, I used the original paseo loom but did some modifications for some sensors basiclly thats it. I fitted the Limited Slip Gearbox as well. B)
