Ok... anyone got any idea what would be involved in making a rev1 car able to accept rev3 discs/pads ??

Everyone knows rev1 discs are pap.

I want to get some drilled/grooved discs etc, but would prefer rev3 larger discs.

should be pretty simple, just a case of changing the calipers and buying the larger size discs...

try all the breakers for calipers.... or brakes international are the best prices you will find for oem spec brakes.

when i did my conversion i picked up a set of used rev3 calipers, discs and pads for £295.

well worth it.

Yeah, but if he upgrades to the larger calipers from the rev 3,

he can fit larger fast road pads and discs

I think they also changed the size of the master cylinder when they changed to the larger brakes. You may also need that if you upgrade the calipers, otherwise you could end up with too much pedal travel.

You are going to need the new brackets to hold the calipers on too.

I emailed Matt at Rogue. I've to give him a call about the calipers etc. They do have some in stock. Also a CT20b turbo.

Just the fronts mate.

And you will still need to buy the mounting brackets for the calipers

you could get away with just upgrading the fronts and replacing the rear discs and pads with fast road ones of rev1 spec
