I can be from time to time...depends on:

1.what mood I'm in, and

2.If the guy next to me is driving a nova and thinks it's the !Removed! when all he has is a cardboard bodykit and a hole cut out of his back box! (err, your exhaust's blowin chav...."nah bruv, latest scorpion fing innit, blitz your mr2!)...ahem....cue the traffic lights....:)

I hate to admit it but yeah I suppose I am to be honest (my g/f would say definitely yes, lol). It's just too tempting when someone tries it on against me off the lights. It's quite funny sometimes coz I tend to scare myself and end up chickening out anyway. I try not to race in the wet.

But Boy racers irriatate the hell out of me, all i want to do is arrive at my destination safe and sound, And you get some knob up your backend flashing their lights, then once they finally overtake you they are pulling the ****** sign at you. IT'S NOT BIG AND IT'S NOT CLEVER.

I just say to myself they might think their faster in their crappy sheds, but they would never be able to keep up with me on the circuit.

Bit of a stupid thread really " BOY racer " can mean many things but to me it means ... Bad driving , CLose driving and high speeds , Taking dangerous risks on turns or overtakes , loud bassy music at 2am in the morning blaring out r&b

I used to be!!! 2 be honest, now ive got more serious power (i used to own a 2.0l 16v Seat Ibiza Cupra Sport and id have raced awt in that!!) im not to botherd about racing other cars, + we all know, mr2 Turbo's drink fuel for fun when we boot em.

I just think its funny when someone gets a inferiority complexe when i over take them only for them to try and race me without me even knowing it, thats untill for example a Nova, Saxo etc etc goes screaaaaming past with the driver (usually wearing a burberry cap + passenger) staring at you as the fly off. ha ha!!

Racing is for the track when you can go wild to your hearts content. Do it on a road and you are an idiot period. You aren't race drivers, and can't always get out of the situations when you get into them. Luck may run out one day. Just please be careful and considerate to all.

I dont think a nova justifies ruining the back end of my motor. I spent many hours detailing and ensuring no ejit ruines my pride and joy.

Funny thing is I get MR2's as well. Although I dont mind the MR2's so much (being biased towards toyota hehe)

But every day I get idiots up so close i cannot see there dashboard!!!

I have had it with these idiots.. as you can tell it winds me up.

Motorways I get it with BMW's not bad as same class... but not new but old 1991 -97 BMW's. always some pratt who buys a BMW for the wrong reason... I can guarentee if its not a woman in the car then it will be a muppet up close.

Then around town I get saxos and novas etc.. evn had a mk1 escort.. Like WTF

It is plain as day I am not interested but merely concerned about if I have to brake hard.. i can stop pretty quick as the brakes on my motor are pretty sharp!

Then when it comes to selling it would be hard to sell as the damage repair could be noticed.
