Don't know..maybe. But it's a new feature in new cars. The driver does not have to shift his eyes from the windscreen to the speedo <_< ! I find it particularly appealing in that some1 can add an LCD in place of his speedo in the yaris and read speedo onto the windscreen...just a vague idea..won't try this myself! Will have to work on the dash and mould the LCD in the dash in place of the speedo etc...lot of job

I saw Jaguar do this a couple of years ago. Everything was head's up and projected on the windscreen.

There was also cameras that highlighted any dangers and also warned you if you were too close the the car in front etc.

I'd find it damn annoying, and very distracting.

you can get that HUD unit from a car shop here near me, it works very well, can be set to run in MPH or KMH, and it can display RPM, it also has a recall feature for Max RPM, and MPH.

you get a small plastic square to fit on the windscreen to prevent glare

my 8" screen on the dash, just press a button to mirror the screen. this allows rear facing camera to be used whilst driving. IN CAR CCTV.............. DONE :)

I wonder why it has it's wing mirrors pushed in too?

My T3 has got her wing mirrors pushed in at the mo as the other morning I went out at 7.15am and found the d/s wing mirror pushed right back so the mirror was facing away from the car :ffs: so annoying..I'm glad it didnt break off.

isn't the folding mirrors part of electrics pack.

So when the car's not in use, it turns them inwards like

Soarers, MR2's FTO's

all jap spec cars have electronic folding mirrors

unless its the really really cheap ones, gets them out the way automatically for those narrow roads

Ive got one of these on my Supra and there quite good. They give you your speed and Rpm and also have a shift light function which is good for drag racing.

They have a brightness control so can be enhanced through the day and dimmed down at night.

I have a few in stock for imediate delivery for interested parties.

Thanks

Kevin
