St Engine Swap

I was wondering how hard it would be to put a GT engine w/ 5spd manuel transmission into my automatic ST? Around how much would the swap cost? Another thing is does any1 know a company that makes Intakes for the ST celica.

My opinion would be just to sell what you have take the money and buy a Manual GT. I think this because of the amount of work it would take. But thats just my opinion. Also I have seen a few intakes for the ST on eBay.

It takes alot of work to make a auto into a manual.

Well its a '96 ST w/ an automatic tranny. I was wondering if it would be hard to put a '94-'98 GT engine w/ 5spd manuel tranny in and about how much it would cost.

I've already looked into this. NOTHING on an A series matches up with the S series. You're looking at completely gutting everything and starting over. Not to mention the value of the car will be worthless after you're done. Just buy a GT
