and the gear box has gone on it anyone know where to get a decently priced rev 3 gear box?

My gearbox went lucky for me, my car was still under warranty so i got a brand spanking new one; free of charge

As you live no where near me it's not worth me recommending a scrappy, but expect to pay roughly £300 for a second hand one.
