Kerbed Alloys

i have slightly kerbed my alloy whilst trying to park. kicked myself about it but can i touch up the rub?. i know you can send them off to be reapaired but i think that is a bit over the top for the damage that i have done :)

Hi !

Ive also kerbed my alloys whilst in Germany.

The local Toyota Autohaus said I needed a new alloy and new tyre costing about 500 Euro.

A local garage laughed when I said this and replaced only the tyre and grinded off any sharp bits on the alloy for 120 euro.

So, I asked what writes off an alloy,

"If it has a crack or rear damage" was the answer.

Just go to a tyre centre.... not a toyota place.... does Uk still have Halfords or kwik fit, one of those would do!
