ok as some of you may know i am going for 18"s on my rear and 17" on the front.

has anyone on this site actually tried this cobination?

is it actually legal to have 1 wheel bigger at the back (i know elise`s run bigger at the back)

will it totally ***** up my handleing (i know big wheels will make it pretty bad but i want it to be at least "drivable"

any imput would be great as i will be buying the wheels 2morrow B)

Its not illegal to have rear wheels larger than front

The new mr-s has 15's and 16's on it.

Your ride will probably be very firm due to the low profile of the tyres but it will be drivable

Your diameter will change, and hence the circumference of the wheel, if you go with 40 profile on 18's. I think you'll need 35 profile for sure.

If not, your odometer and speedo will become more inaccurate.
