That reassuring to know in the event of an attempted break in...

You will be able to remove them mate,

just need to remove the metal shield first

And i think the actual handle is held on with 2 10mm nuts

Theres an easier way

1) find a local bodyshop

2) book it in

3) take it in, they will mask up the handle and paint them

4) couple of hours later they will be done

5) pay up - £40 should cover it

or

1) try fiddling with door handles,

2) graze arms and fingers

3) gnash your teeth a bit when it starts annoying you

4) get mighty P****d off when it starts getting dark and you cant see

5) lose a few screws on the drive

6) add a bit of brute force

7) SNAP!

8) Broken handle

9) Decide that you cant find a repalcement in a scrappy so you ahve to pay Toyota about £100 for a new one

10) start again!

I know which i would choose!
