Seat Zips

I opened one of the zips on the rear seat to see what was inside and now I cant close it, how can I close it?

it doesnt have the metal zip part, just the plastic track bit

umm. if they didnt have any visible way to eb done back up what was the use in undoing them. its not as if there was gonna be a pot of gold in ur seat. its just a load of crappy foam stuff

still gonna be a stupid idea though as if u put a PC in there it'd affect the comfort of the seat and if some chunky bloke sat in the seat it'd be bye bye in car PC

try and zip it shut using a pair of pliers, if not you'll have to order new seat cover as Toyota designed them not to come off, well more than once anyway.

Well that's a lesson learned. Leaving the my seat zips well alone, as we speak :lol:

undo them all and hen they might do up i believe this to be a common problem and when there all undone they close easier!

Put a piece of string/cord through the eye of the zipper so you have some leverage, it saves the ends of the fingers.

Vmail.... I undid the Zips on my back seats to chek if there was anywhere to bolt the Amp onto.... it is very easy to do them back up again...

My zips seemed to have the tabs on the inside of the cover... odd but true... best thing I did was take a hold of the zip in finger and thumb (finger on inside next to the stuffing) and pull gently downwards...

Just like doing a zip up inside out

failing that... you sure you havent broken it with the force of pulling them apart?
