Is This A Rev3 Turbo Engine?

rev2 had alot of the minor changes, but not the major ones, rev2s have the same throttle body as rev3s for example, make it look not to dissimilar.

This is my first post on here so dont rip my head off if im wrong.

I think that catch cans are there to collect any oil residue that there may be in the air that gose from the engine oil breather pipe to the air induction pipe. If that makes any sence.

exactly .. there is a breather pipe into the intake .. oil reduces the octaine in the air/fuel mix, so you add a CC to filter this out ..

Hi mergli, I live in Uppermill, on church road. I've only just got the MR2. I used to drive around in a silver evo5.

I must say Im really having allot of fun getting used to a powerfull rear wheel drive motor again!! ;)

PS. do you know of a decent place to get performance parts from near us?

Ste, I used to live on High St in Uppermill :)

There's nowhere local that I know of I usually get any bits and pieces off the net.

Roytoner might know somewhere though.........

That's 3 of us down here now :thumbsup:

Ste their is no where near us for parts,

we have international Breakers on Shaw Road, Oldham, for bit's

But they tend to cost a arm & a leg :eek:

Like Mergli say's get alot of stuff over the net .
