:huh:hi, i was thinking of putting a turbo in my starlet. wat should i do??? engine chage etc or turbo the engine i all ready have??? please help.

wat do i need if i want to do the engine transplant and how much will it cost roughly??? any 1 selling parts that will be usful for the transplant??? please help me.

just drop in the 4-efte that's the easiest conversion.

Easiest way is to replace your car with a Glanza or Starlet turbo. That means no dirty hands, and you also get the bigger brakes to help slow you down.

Second way is to transplant 4E-FTE running gear from a Starlet thats been crashed. This will cost between £ 600 - £ 1200 for the parts (depending on where you get them from, obviously the more expensive will be better, ie higher spec, newer or less miles), plus about 15 hours of labour.

Third way is to turbo your engine. You would need a lot of custom parts and will cost a lot more than the second way.

Get insurance quotes before you start for all three options. It will differ.

B) thanks for the help. very good tip about the insurance. for the time being before the turbo (hopefully), is there any way that i can increase my power on my 1.3 starlet, wat about a superchip.??? any 1 got info???

Lot of money for negligable gain. Put the £ 500 in the piggy bank for the turbo upgrade (car / engine / whichever route you choose)
