How do I get the side repeaters off my gen 6? Its a pre face lift if that makes a difference. I'm guessin I just pull them out but wanted to check first! :thumbsup:

Probably better if you can get behind the wheel arch liner and push them out. Less chance of damaging paintwork. :D

However if like mine, the previous numpty owner superglued them in. You`ve got problems....... Thanks mate. T :censor: r :angry:

you have to turn them slightly to the left or right , then they pop out.

Maleborn... Got any suggestions for superglued ones? Want to get some clear ones but not much point if i`m goin to balls up the paintwork. :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

boil the kettle and pour it over them slowly , may just loosen it enough to get em off. :thumbsup:

other methods found on the net = Steps:

1. Clean up any glue that is still wet by blotting it with a white paper towel or terry cloth towel.

2. Soak the object in warm soapy water if possible and try rubbing off as much as you can.

3. Pour a little bit of acetone-base nail polish remover on a white terry cloth.

4. Dab at the dried glue until it dissolves.

5. Use extra fine sandpaper to remove dried glue from the surface of an object.

6. Try a product called Goof-Off or Z-7 Debonder (see Related Sites).
