Thermostat Change?

Hi People,

Well been putting off doing the thermostat for ages, but as winter is creeping up I thought I'd better do it now, even more so since its developed a small leak from the housing.

What sort of job is it to do????, is there just the TWO 10mm nuts to remove or are there some I cannot see from the top??

With regards to coolant, I normally use Toyota forlife, but have been hearing some good stuff about the "Halfords Advanced", anyone use it, any opionion???

Thanks

Toyota Forlife is the best coolant for our cars, I'd stick with the tried and tested than any of halfrauds crap.

As for your thermosat, yes it's just two nuts.

It will do no harm inspecting it; since your already taking it off.

the standard valve option Temp is 80-84'c and the valve should lift 8mm atleast.
