Hey guys, we wanna make the drive in the lux last longer as one day ill be driving right round australia, so dont wanna be stopping every 55Ls to fill up. my idea was to add a mitsu magna wagon tank as they are shaped circularly and would be an ace fit into the spare tire well, in which case the spare wheel goes in the tray and bolted down. i am however a little in the dark of how to run the fuel lines and sender unit, i would merely get an after market guage for the 2nd tank and make custopm brackets for mounting and so on. total end litreage is a nice 132Ls which would get me running atleast a 6hr drive non stop. i am thinking of a tank selector switch like with lpg and petrol, but wondering if like a 'Y' piece could be used to split the primary line and feed off both tanks at the same time, thereby not having to stop the car and flip the switch.....

what are ure guys thoughts, dont wanna go gas i dont like it. plus thats more work. so....... input and suggestions and general help is appreciated. TY
