Howdy all,

Right, im wanting to fit an induction kit, and a cat-back full system exhaust. Im wondering what performance upgrade ther'll actually be? And will the sound be improved? (it's on an SR)

Also, (sorry to go on...and on...) I fancy painting the drums and calipers, i know what colours i want, but what paint is suitable? And are there any bits that would be bad/dangerous to accidentaly paint?

Thanks (i need all the help i can get... bit thick y'see!!)

I'd say 5-7bhp max with induction and cat-back! Will sound loads better also!

Yeah u can get proper caliper paint which is heat resistant!

Apparently the ECU of the Yaris remaps itself on the fly so it will make the most of the new mods. I would say 7 - 9bhp.

As for caliper paint, get Hammerite.

Cheers people!

Someone else told me about Hammerite, sounds like a good plan... i'll check out the Halfords caliper paint also though. Am i right in saying that a new exhaust and induction kit will invalidate warranty? If so, best wait until july 2005! (Argh!)

New parts only invalidate a warranty if they are proven to have caused the fault.

So an induction kit would not invalidate your alloy wheels pitting for instance.
