Was walking into work today and saw a red MR2 parked on the car park, it was in a bad state to say the least. I'm not sure why but the bonnet was a whitish pink colour with no shine at all, both wings were also pink. The rest of the bodywork wasn't too bad in comparison which made the car look even worse. Shame to see one in such poor condition

The older red MR2's fade really bad.

At least I wont have that problem anymore!

This MR2 was quite old, H reg I think but not sure if it was a UK or jap car.

The older red models faded realy quickly. I'm having mine painted Super Red II over the winter, along with a few other things...

Mine is a H reg.. it fades on the rear spoiler, engine lid, boot lid, roof and the tops of the wings.

Autoglym brings it back tho.

Its all purple now (I hope) and NOT PINK!

Well, with a little effort, anything can be acheived. I once had a Mk2 Golf a few years back. When I bought it, the Tornado red was differently shaded all round. It tookme 8 hours + to get it back to original red again. But boy, did she look !Removed!- tastic for it.
