I'm gonna try really hard not to spin my MR2 this year!

I think November the 1st should be the starting date, first person to spin their MR2 has to buy everyone a pint at the Xmas party!

Jimlad??!!??...lol.

I've not got mine sideways.... facing the wrong way or anything since last year....

I'm sensible now. :D

I don't even do a Rico... too scared of hitting something.

Damn, doesn't sound promising. You're right though it's bad enough in the wet, even at 25mph mine sometimes twitches a bit. Might try and borrow my mum's Ka when the ice comes.

On the contrary it's my aim to master the soddin snow / icy conditions this year.

As soon as its nicely snowing ima *carefully* drive to a carpark & practice controlling my car in these conditions!

It was terrifying driving mine in the snow last year... I had the rear end seriously twitching on the motorway doing about 65.... in a straight line.

But when you find an empty carpark it's loads of fun.

no matter how good a driver you are I doubt you'dd be able to master the mr2 in the snow ( on a road )... you'd be wanging all over the place... then facing the wrong way... lol

zero you can borrow my spare wheel so when its icey you can put the spare wheel with your spare on the rear tyres while you try to drive in a stright line and i stop myself from pissin my pants lol

Won't 95% of cars struggle in snow/ice though?

Do any of you MR2 guys put winter tyres on for the bad months?

Or how about adding traction control? I saw a thread on here yesterday.. about £500 :)

I have little experience of RWD so feel free to educate me if my points are silly :D

winter tyres ?? ....

good tyres will help.. but you're fighting a near losing battle in the snow.

Just drive super slow and like a granny!

I had a moment last winter where I was going down a hill and couldnt stop. Thought it was the end for my MR2.
