Offset Celica Wheels?

hi there, i have just bought a 92 jap import celica GT-R 2.0, and i am looking to replace my wheels for 17s could anybody tell me what the offset would be for them, also would 205/40s be ok for the tyres, bearing in mind it has 4ws? sorry if i sound a bit thick, its the first jap car i've had and this will be my first mod,

Cant believe it - Just came onto the sight for some info myself - Have 1992 celica gtr - want to put woolfrace Voodoo 2 wheels and tyre set - Only looking at 15" though _"Are u sure 17s will fit under the arches"? 17s will also reduce acceleration - put improve top end and cruising speed????
