How Reliable Is Your Turbo Mr2?

Generally the N/A MR2 cars that I've had in the pass have been generally good. I did have a REV 2 GT Turbo car but I didn't use that on a regular basis so I didn't get to find out how good it could have been regularly.

I will be using my new 94' GTS Turbo on regular day to day basis and will be turning out around 12-14,000 miles per annum. Are they generally trouble free with the old wear and tear replacements? Or are there a few common things which tend to go wrong which I might need to expect?

i've not heard of any big problems.

Just keep your eye on the oil regularly as the tubby are known to drink it!

That's about all I can say really.

Just ensure its serviced on a regular basis and check for oil etc as Z has stated.. and you will be fine!...

about 40k of driving in 2.5 years as a daily ..

only issue that taken it off the road was when the alternator belt snapped after 3 weeks ..

shouldn't have any trouble.

Give it regular oil changes, keep an eye on the oil level.

Get your steering rack checked also mate. Also make sure you get your handbrake cable fully lubed for the winter!
