Hi guys, I need a little advice if possible.

I am about to sell my wifes Car. It is as follows:

Toyota Avensis 1.6 Hatchback

W - reg (2000)

42k on the clock

Full service history

6 months tax 12 months mot

The only problem with it is that my wife decided to modify the front wing using a bollard. No major damage done, but would be better with a new one rather than trying to repair the wing.

Not sure how much to pitch it at though, any advice would be appreciated.

I can only imagine you would be crucified if you try to sell it as it is . If you accept the insurance hit then at least you have a car to sell or use in good condition. If this equation is not clear cut why not ask a friendly garage for their trade in value as is? If that is way below book then claim on your insurance.
