Hi im getting a Celica GT 1995 and was just wondering about the suspension

firstly im cosidering lowering the car, but would like to know what mm the car can be dropped with out new dampers and with out it bottoming out, or how low with new dampers, are the new dampers shortened or are the celica standard dampers good enough to cope. Oh and what make, i was looking at kyb dampers, are they any good.

Secondly where can i get clear, smokey front indactors from.

Cheers

i dropped mine 35mm with jamex on standard shocks ,also cut bump stops in half.

sits well no problems unless hitting a really deep pot hole or cornering like an idiot.

i have dropped another celica using spax 40mm drop ,seemed ok too.if i had the money i'd drop it 40mm and put uprated shocks on.but was warned the car would shake me to death and be too stiff.

you cant get clear front indicators for the 95 model,i have tried ,believe me , the facelift ones dont fit either so dont get any.

Cool so they are fine with 35 mm drop without shocks, are they bouncy nice and firm.

they hold the road well, you lose a little bit of comfort on bumpy roads but on flat roads like the a19 they are like driving a go cart.:lol:

wheels are 17 " , try www.evoperformance.co.uk for skirts based in peterlee.i got my wheels there too in the clearance section.

usually on eBay too.
